HDF is part of the Connecticut CDFI Alliance, Inc., a collaborative union of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) funded by the state of Connecticut Dept. of Economic and Community Development (DECD). This contract gives the Alliance state funds to blend with its bank pool funding to make more housing affordable throughout the state of Connecticut. HDF is a founding member of the Alliance, and Joan Carty is a former President of the Alliance. The other Alliance members are:
