Deborah Mac Kenzie of Danbury was appointed by Stamford-based Housing Development Fund, a nonprofit bank that provides funding for affordable housing and an array of home buyer assistance programs, as program manager for its Danbury Housing Resource Center. Most recently, Mac Kenzie was a project coordinator for the United Way of Northern Fairfield County’s (now United Way of Western Connecticut) Guy in the Sky fundraising event. Prior to that, she was director of welfare and social services for the city of Danbury. Mac Kenzie holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and administration from the University of New Haven.
