Tami Strauss of Norwalk has been appointed knowledge development officer with the Housing Development Fund in Stamford, a nonprofit bank providing funding for affordable housing and home buyer assistance programs.
Strauss has analyzed real estate markets and their demographic,
geographic and competitive trends, including research
and analyses of major property types nationwide.
She most recently served as an associate vice president
for Rockwood Reality Associates in New York City.
She previously was a research manager for Finard & Co.
LLC and was a market research analyst and geographical
information systems manager for CareMatrix Corp.
Strauss earned a bachelor’s degree from the State
University of New York in Albany and a master of
urban planning degree from the R.F. Wagner Graduate
School of
Public Service at New York University. She has served on the faculty of Westchester
County Community College.
