Danbury bank executive named housing chair

Donna M. Ramey, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Savings Bank of Danbury, has been elected chair of the board of directors for the Housing Development Fund.

The Housing Development Fund, headquartered in Stamford, has a Danbury office at 8 West St., Suite 202 -204. It is a nonprofit bank that provides funding for affordable housing and offers home buyer assistance programs.

Ramey succeeds Reyno Giallongo Jr., senior vice president of First County Bank. The members of the board of directors are all volunteers.
